Hubby is in Toronto today. I just can't used to his new position of responsibility at work. He's not staying over night, you see, he went for LUNCH. Who does that?? Who are these people that pay to fly to another city for a mere lunch date?? I'm not complaining though. He's going to be home late tonight but I'd much rather he be late than coming home tomorrow.
Jr and I went to Passport Canada to get my passport renewed. Thankfully it has been less than a year since its expiration so I could use the express renewal process. We went to the service center close to hubby's work and were in and out of there in 30 minutes. I was so relieved. The only hiccup is that I may have to take my picture again because of the shine on my forehead. Nothing like grease on your face to screw up your passport application!
Friday we'll go back for Jr's passport. We forgot to get the back of her photo signed before hubby left this morning so we'll have to wait. Just as well. I don't know how long Jr would have been able to handle the service center.
I'm excited because tomorrow at the play group in the park we're having a guest speaker who will talk about temper tantrums. Yes! What do you do at this age? What do you do via discipline? Looking forward to it but not the ridiculously high temperatures and humidity in the park. What can you do.
Gotta go -- Jr is whining at my feet.
