Day Twelve: Bullet My Whole Day

Day 12 of the 30 Day Writing Challenge

Day Twelve: Bullet My Whole Day

Normally this would be done at day's end but I'm too darn tired to do much writing by the end of the day so I'll do it at the beginning. Today's a little different because it's Saturday so that in itself will be different from the day to day routine. Also, my hubby and I are waiting for our new dining room table to be delivered so that also changes things. We've been saving and saving our Visa bonus points and managed to save up enough for our table. So excited!
So instead of this particular Saturday, I'll bullet what this Saturday would have looked like.

  • Wake up at 7:00 am to hear baby complaining
  • Go into baby's room before it turns into screaming
  • Bring baby into bed with us in hopes of getting an extra hour of sleep
  • Let's say we're successful!
  • Get up at 8:00 am to feed and change baby
  • Put baby on her play mat
  • Make breakfast and read my paper (bliss!)
  • Try to feed baby cereal -- not having it!
  • Give baby a bath
  • Get baby dressed
  • Put baby down for first nap of the day
  • Take a shower (another blissful moment! Wish I could live in the shower I'm so happy!)
  • Blow dry my hair because hubby is here to take care of baby if need be
  • Get dressed
  • Go on my laptop to check emails, write, etc.
  • Baby's awake!
  • Feed and change baby
  • Strap baby into car seat
  • Drive to in-laws for lunch
  • Spend a few hours at the in-laws
  • Drive home from in-laws
  • Probably change and feed baby depending on what time it is
  • Take a nap (I'm talking about me here. Hooray! Thanks hubby!)
  • Wake up
  • Feed baby some mushy veggies. Mmm...
  • Clean baby up
  • Make dinner
  • Try to entertain baby while we eat
  • Change baby into sleeper
  • Feed baby
  • Struggle to put baby to bed (much weeping and gnashing of teeth -- did I mention it's me doing these things??)
  • Go into baby's room a minimum of 3 times before she is down for approximately 4 hours before next feeding
  • Next could be: going to bed, watching TV/movie or trying to get in some sexy time with hubby. Guess which one usually wins??
  • Go to bed
  • Wake up 2 hours later for first feeding
  • Wake up 2 hours later for first put-back-to-bed
  • Wake up 1 or 2 hours later for second feeding
  • Etc.
  • Etc.
  • Etc.
I miss sleep. I NEED sleep. But that's another story.
