Shout Outs

I'm feeling a bit lazy today. I went to my dad's office this morning for a meeting with him and one of his agents (yes, Jr. too!). It was a productive meeting although Jr. was trying to grab everything off of the conference table except her toys and then she knocked her Tupperware full of cereal on the carpet floor and I kept having to try to plug her up with her suess so as to keep things going smoothly.

My dad's office is above a mall and they had the petting zoo in for Easter. So I took Jr. around but when we arrived the roosters were crowing, just like you hear in the cartoons: COCK-A-DOODLE-DOOOO!!!! It freaked her out but didn't make her cry. What finally set her off was the oafish goat poking his gigantic head through the wooden fence to see if we had anything for him to eat. Jr. did not like that at all, no sir! I was kind of sad when she showed no interest whatsoever in the adorable ducklings and chicks with their yellow down feathers. Oh well. Maybe next year.

So anyway, this blog post is a shout out to some people in my life who have some exciting things happening.

A shout out to my sister, Malt_Soda, who came back with Jelly Bean and Dr. B yesterday from the States. They're here for a week and I'm really looking forward to spending time with them!

A shout out to AD & KK, who just bought their first home and are presently in the throes of renovating. Congrats!

A shout out to my other sister, Little Jo, who is about to go live with a project at work very soon and is therefore working like a dog to make it happen. And all this while her hubby is in Europe with his students on a school trip! You can do it!

Finally, a shout out to my cousin who has recently ventured into the blogging world (both written and video) about her journey with a debilitating disease called fibromyalgia. Don't know what that is? Check out her written blog here: http://fibroforumblog.blogspot.ca/ as well as her first video blog on YouTube. Learn something new and educate yourself!
