Being a SAHM (stay at home mom) can suck. You don't get coffee or lunch breaks and your day doesn't end at 5pm. And I'm pretty sure your boss at work doesn't require you to wipe their butt like mine does.
But. (Did like that play on words?)
On a day like today it's GREAT being a SAHM. Within the past 24 hours we received at least 10 cm of snow and now the snow has turned into freezing rain. I pity anyone who has to leave their house or worse, actually drive in this. To add to this mess, the rain will turn back to snow and we should get another good dump of 10 cm. Tomorrow morning the sun will shine again but alas, the mercury will drop to something like -20. We've had a relatively warm and snow-free beginning to our winter (thank you global warming!) but Mother Nature is certainly making up for lost time.

Needless to say I'm thrilled that I can stay inside where it's warm and cozy! This is definitely one of the perks of staying at home. I don't know that a miserable day like today outweighs watching The Doodlebops or cleaning the floor around Jr's highchair on a day-to-day basis but it certainly adds to the plus column, along with bisous (kisses), baby laughter and watching Jr. discover something new in life.

Yes, this is definitely a great perk! It's gross out and the roads are crazy. Stay safe!
