It hasn't been a pleasant morning. Jr wouldn't nap (20 minutes is not a nap!) so she's been grouchy ever since. She just finished her lunch and has been put to bed. I pray it goes better than this morning. To be fair, it wasn't her fault she didn't sleep well. We put her to bed last night in pj's that are a bit too big. While she was napping she managed to get both of her legs inside one pant leg. It was so tight she couldn't move, never mind dislodging one of her legs. All she could do was roll back and forth, which is how I found her. I'm amazed this didn't happen last night! Plus, I can see a new tooth coming in so I'm guessing that's throwing her off too.
I also found out this morning that hubby will be flying to Calgary next week (which is three provinces away and approximately a 4 hour plane ride for those of you who are not experts of Canadian geography). True, it's only for one night but it will be the first time he goes away on business overnight since Jr's been born. I know everything will be fine but I suppose it's knowing I'm the only one in charge. So if anything were to happen it would all be up to me to save us from home invaders or drive us to the hospital or give the Heimlich or whatever (isn't the imagination wonderful??). On the other hand, it might give me courage to know that Jr is depending on me so I've got to pull up my bootstraps and get on with it.
On the bright side the weather is warm and tonight AD and I will put the first coat of color on her bedroom walls. I'm excited to see how it looks; already there is such a difference between the original colors (two different yucky shades of brown) and two coats of primer.
I can't wait either!
