Monkeying Around

Last night I went to bed at 9pm. I was so tired, so blasé all day. Hubby kept asking me questions about things we had to do and I eventually asked him to talk about it tomorrow. I wanted one day where I could turn off my brain and not have to think about anything. I am happy to report that Jr. once again slept through the night, waking up at 7:30 this morning. I guess she needed the sleep too!
Today we plan on going to the Biodome. It is like a zoo but indoors, with animals from all over the world. I love going anyplace where there are animals. I'm not sure what it is exactly but they bring me peace and joy. We have the Ecomuseum near our house, which has North American animals, so it's open 364 days a year (everyday except Christmas). But we would have to walk outside in the snow. I don't mind if it's sunny; you can bundle up against the cold. I usually visit the Ecomuseum at least twice a year with hubby, one of those times for my birthday. This time, though, Jr. will be with us for the first time and I'm not sure she would enjoy it very much, wrapped up like a mummy in her snowsuit. I'm very excited to take her to see the animals. I hope she grows to enjoy going as much as I do. Toronto has an excellent zoo that I would love to take her to see and when we visit my grandma in Winnipeg we can see that zoo too!
