Day Twenty-Five: Someone Who Fascinates Me and Why

Day 25 of the 30 Day Writing Challenge

Day Twenty-Five: Someone Who Fascinates Me and Why

I read this topic this morning at around 7:30am and I couldn't think of anyone off the top of my head so I decided to come back to it later. Well, it's almost 6:30pm and I still can't think of anyone. I think it's the word 'fascinate' that stumps me. The people that Barbara Walters interviews each year, her Ten Most Fascinating People of [insert year], aren't fascinating. They're famous or rich or both but not fascinating, at least not to me. Fascination should be something akin to awe. You should want to discover everything about them. They should inspire and amaze. You should want to be like them. I can't think of any such person. I was thinking I could say Jesus but I'm not fascinated by him... I worship him. It's just not the same thing. I think this question might work better for me if it were who I admire, who do I love, or something like that. I just don't have an answer for this.

Plus, my baby is crying hysterically while my hubby is trying to get her to sleep. She's been cranky all day. It does not lend to thoughtfulness and great writing.
