Day Six: 30 Interesting Facts About Myself

Now this may seem straightforward, but it's not! I mean, what's considered interesting?? What's interesting to someone may not be interesting to someone else! Anyway, I just came up with some random stuff in no particular order of importance.

1. I  use 6 Q-tips to clean my ears (3 per ear)
2. I am an accomplished piano player
3. My middle name is Margaret, after my maternal grandmother
4. I am the youngest of 4 siblings
5. My sister, the Littlest Crafter, used to call me Jolly Green Giant (but she was Little Jo so I guess it's all good)
6. I have two tattoos
7. I once pretended to have an a British accent on a city bus with my friend and someone asked which part of England we were from (we said Liverpool)
8. My family calls me Missy and my friends call me Mel
9. I hate stray hairs (on me, on my clothes, on the sheets, on the floor, in the bathtub)
10. I ate dirt as a toddler (mouthfuls apparently)
11. I was almost called Melinda (or Misty Dawn if Grandma had had her way -- narrowly avoided the stripper pole with that one)
12. My eyes are brown but turn green when I've been crying
13. I wrote and directed a play in high school
14. I went through a horror movie phase (just ask my hubby -- on our first date I made him take me to see Jeepers Creepers!)
15. I have seen Braveheart so many times I've lost count
16. I have major road rage
17. Whenever I have to make a decision that I'm not sure about I always ask my mom what she thinks (Yes, I've severed the umbilical cord!)
18. I once wrote a letter to Joey from New Kids on the Block and the fan club wrote back
19. My sister Malt_Soda taught me to read when I was four (Hop on Pop, baby!)
20. I was born with a tongue-tie; the doctor was afraid I wouldn't be able to speak properly but I showed him! (I recently had it cut because it was pulling down on my gums)
21. When I was little I had terrible homesickness whenever I slept over at someone's house (except my grandparents' house)
22. My earliest memory is of my grandpa's funeral
23. Traveled with my husband throughout Ontario for 6 months right after we got married, for his job, living in different hotels from week to week
24. I hate ironing
25. I get satisfaction out of mowing the lawn
26. I got my driver's license when I was 22
27. When I was little I stole one earring from K-Mart and my mom threatened to make me go back into the store to apologize to each and every person who worked there
28. I have a ton of freckles that multiply every summer
29. My favorite childhood memory is going camping every weekend
30. I was sent down to the principal's office in high school for looking at obscene cartoons on the internet in computer class (sent to me by my friend! It's not like I was looking for them!)
