Thor Review and Getting to Know Me A-Z

I recently watched Thor with my hubby. It's based on Norse mythology with a modern twist. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) has been cast down to earth by his King and father, Odin (Anthony Hopkins), while his mischievous brother, Loki (Tom Hiddelston), plots to take over Asgard by killing Thor. It's an action movie with a little fantasy thrown in and I didn't expect an Oscar-winner but overall I wasn't satisfied. You see, when Thor is exiled to earth, he meets Jane (Natalie Portman). You know that they're going to be each other's love interest but it happens way too fast so that by the time the movie ends and they're madly in love, you just don't buy it. It's almost as ridiculous as the cut body of Chris Hemsworth. But I guess that's just my take. I don't know that any real fan of Thor or comic books would really care. Anyhow, it entertained me but I wouldn't necessarily watch it again, which to me is the test of a good movie.
